The main sponsor of the project Nodes is the Art Foundation North Rhine-Westphalia (Kunststiftung NRW), which was initiated by the Federal Government of North Rhine-Westphalia in 1989. The promotion and cooperation of extraordinary presentations and documentation of art and culture is sponsored as well as the acquisition and protection of artefacts and cultural assets with exceptional relevance for North Rhine-Westphalia. Furthermore the foundation fosters highly talented young artists and also the international culture and artists exchange.
